Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and I am back as a personal trainer and health coach at the Y!
Fitness has been a passion of mine since a young age. It became even more important to me after an ACL injury in college, when I discovered that I also loved helping others toward their own fitness goals while mine had to be sidelined for a bit.
I have been away from personal training for a bit, but I have missed it immensely. I have missed helping clients realize what it is they want out of their gym experience. Whether that is to be very fit, feel better with activities of daily living, or keep up with grandkids. Everyone’s fitness journey is different, and I love helping my clients along in it. Fitness can be very daunting – whether you are new or have been working out for a long time – and having someone in your corner to help you along in your journey can be very important!
With my own fitness, I currently enjoy doing functional fitness (my own version of CrossFit), lifting weights, and running in races such as 5ks or obstacle course races. I hold certifications from the ACSM as a Certified Personal Trainer, and Cancer Exercise Trainer and as a Health Coach through ACE.
