Self-Massage & Self-Care

We often think about massage as a luxury that we receive and self-care as an indulgent activity. I want to challenge both of these notions with this video about self-massage and self-care. These are techniques that I have learned from Bo Forbes and from Sea Change Yoga (self-massage). I use these in my personal practice as well as the classes, workshops, and retreats I teach. These techniques can be played with and experimented with to see what works best for you. I remind you in the video that you should consult with your doctor before taking on such practices and that the most important thing to do is to listen to your body and to keep breathing. These are practices that can have a profound impact on your physical and mental health, and they are only a beginning!
