This is a basic standing series with a warm-up, breathing, stretches, balance, and a few standing poses. A good series to do if you have been sitting all day or in conjunction with other videos we’ll be posting to make a complete workout. While this is basic, it still has challenging elements, especially if you have not done yoga for a while. So, as always, do what feels good to you!
Sarah Hentges is an RYT-200 certified yoga instructor and an associate professor of American studies at the University of Maine at Augusta. She teaches fitness classes at the Bangor Region YMCA and Community Yoga classes on the UMA-Bangor campus and via Zoom. She has taught yoga at several Caring Connections retreats and regularly offers workshops and an annual retreat at Pumpkin Hill Farm.
