Aquatic Group Exercise


Put a splash into your fitness routine. We offer more than 20 group exercise classes in the pool. If you prefer the therapeutic warm water of the Means Pool or the cooling water of the Aloupis Pool, we have a class to meet your needs at our Second Street pool facilities.

Aqua Aerobicsfamily focus icon
A shallow end workout that includes cardio combinations to strengthen the heart plus resistance exercises utilizing dumbbells, noodles, and more to tone and strengthen muscles. This is a moderate to high intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed 5:30-6:30 pm

Deep Water Workoutfamily focus icon
Taught with the aid of a flotation belt, which is provided. Deep water jogging will strengthen your heart and muscles using underwater resistance. This is a moderate to high intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed/Fri 6:00-7:00 am, Mon/Wed/Fri 8:30-9:30 am, Mon/Wed 5:30-6:30 pm

Hi-Lo H 2 0family focus icon
Great combo of shallow and deep-water exercises to get the heart pumping, strengthen muscles and increase range of motion. This is a moderate to high intensity workout.
Times: Tue/Thu 12:00-1:00pm and 6:30-7:30 pm

Joint Venturesfamily focus icon
A good choice for members with arthritis, fibromyalgia or other neuromuscular complications. Uses the deep and shallow ends of the pool but those who prefer to stay deep or stay exclusively in the shallow end may do so. Focus is on daily mobility, improving flexibility, increasing strength and managing pain. This is a low to moderate intensity workout.
Times: Tue/Thu 11:00am-12:00pm

Prenatal Water Fitness

Not currently offered.

Senior Aqua Fitnessfamily focus icon
Designed for older adults. Great music and great people add to the fun. Low impact in the shallow end. The warm water provides comfort and support, plus eases joint pain and makes exercising for longer periods of time more bearable, a terrific way to begin your day. This is a low intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed/Fri 7:15-8:00 am

Therapeutic Aqua Jogfamily focus icon
Held in the deep end of the pool for those with joint, muscular or neuromuscular complications. Warm water and no impact feels great for individuals looking for a lighter workout or those with injuries or muscular conditions that limit your abilities. Deep water skiing, running and strengthening exercises help improve mobility and flexibility. This is a low to moderate intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed/Fri 8:00-9:00 am
