Adult Rehabilitation

The Bangor Y Rehabilitation Center on Hammond Street is monitored by trained Y staff and medical personnel to ensure a safe environment. Membership required. To get a tour of the Rehab Center, a free one month trial, or to get more information on these programs, contact Kevin Dunton, Health & Fitness Director Hammond St., 941-2815.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase III

Cardiac Rehabilitation is a group exercise program designed to support individuals with cardiovascular/heart disease and those with high cardio risk factors. Each class is led by trained, qualified instructors and monitored by registered nurses or emergency response personnel, all ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified. A doctor's referral is required. Members only. Hammond Street Rehab Center
M,W & F 7-8am
M,W & F 8:15-9:15am
M,W & F 4:15-5:15pm


Pulmonary Fitness

A continuous exercise program designed to meet the specific needs of individuals diagnosed with chronic pulmonary disease. The program will provide ongoing aerobic and muscle strengthening exercise supervised by a fitness instructor, a licensed respiratory therapist from St. Joseph's Hospital and/or Husson College Physical Therapy students. Members only. M&Th 9:30-11am Hammond St Rehab Center & Gym
