A perfect place to play while Mom or Dad enjoy the Y! The Bangor Y Babysitting Center is available for children of members or participants who are attending classes or using Y facilities. The Center is located on-site at the Hammond St. facility. For registration and info, contact the Welcome Centers. Pre-Registration within 24-hrs of care is necessary to ensure availability. Not part of our licensed child care program. Schedule subject to change. Interested in expanded hours? Let us know by completing a comment card. Limit 1-1/2 hrs per visit.
 Cost: $25 per month w/$10 add'l fee per child per month
or $3 per visit per child

Mon-Fri 8:00-11:00am
Mon-Thu 4:00-6:45pm
Sat 8:00am-12:00 noon
Babysitting Skills Course
Ages 12-16
Boys and girls will learn the important skills of responsible babysitting including accident prevention, discipline, basic first aid, age appropriate activities and supervision. Participants must attend all classes for certification. The next session will not begin until late September. Check back for exact dates!
