Recreational Swim is fun pool time for all ages! Children under age nine and/or those unable to stand or swim must be accompanied by an adult swimmer. Lap Swim is exercise time for swimming the length of the pool for those ages 14 years and older. If you wish to know how many lap lanes are available during designated lap times, please pick up a Pool Schedule at the Welcome Center. Schedules subject to change. Contact Welcome Center to verify.

Aquatic Group Exercisefamily focus icon
Put a splash into your fitness routine. We offer more than 20 water fitness classes in the pool. If you prefer the therapeutic warm water of the Means Pool or the cooling water of the Aloupis pool, we have a class to meet your needs at our Second Street pool facilities.

Aqua Aerobics

A shallow end workout that includes cardio combinations to strengthen the heart plus resistance exercises utilizing dumbbells, noodles, webbed gloves & more to tone and strengthen muscles.

Deep Water Workout

Taught with the aid of a flotation belt, which is provided. Deep water jogging will strengthen your heart and muscles using underwater resistance.

Hi/Lo H 2 0

Great combo of shallow and deep-water exercises to get the heart pumping.

Joint Ventures

A good choice for members with arthritis, fibromyalgia or other neuromuscular complications. Uses the deep and shallow ends of the pool but those who prefer to stay deep or stay exclusively in the shallow end may do so. Focus is on daily mobility, improving flexibility, increasing strength and managing pain.

Senior Aqua Fit

Designed for older adults. Great music and great people add to the fun. Low impact in the shallow end. The warm water provides comfort and support, plus eases joint pain and makes exercising for longer periods of time more bearable, a terrific way to begin your day.

Therapeutic Aqua Jog

Held in the deep end of the pool for those with joint, muscular or neuromuscular complications. Warm water and no impact feels great for individuals looking for a lighter workout or those with injuries or muscular conditions that limit your abilities. Deep water skiing, running and strengthening exercises help improve mobility and flexibility.
